One of the best parts to writing and blogging is sharing your thoughtful expressions with others. While we write for ourselves, it’s nice to impart so wisdom and positivity online. With plenty of channels available for promoting your latest articles such as Instagram and E-Mail marketing, you are bound to gain traffic and begin building your audience. Pinterest is another excellent outlet for gaining passive traffic to your blog. Frankly, I’m still figuring out how to increase traffic to my blog without purchasing the famous Tailwind because I’m a writer on a budget.
Nonetheless, my ultimate favorite medium to promote my blog posts is Twitter. Twitter is an easy navigating and interactive networking site, especially for communicating and building engagement with other bloggers. I find Twitter the simplest way to receive tons of views on my blog. How? Besides random tweets of my recent blog posts, I make a strong use of comment threads and retweet accounts.
Let me say this first…
For Twitter to work effectively for you, especially as a new blogger, you need to become active with reading other bloggers content. This means, when you share your post in a comment thread be sure to return the comment back. When I had my old blog, SimplyUntamedNatonya, I was so greedy. I only posted my blog post and never returned comments and a year later, my blog was deleted by me on accident…long story lol!
I guess what I’m saying is, be appreciative to those taking the time to read and comment nice things on your blog posts. I learned the hard way. Today, I always return comments even if it’s two weeks later. I will never take my blog or platform for granted ever again.
So to continue with the giving themes, I was making a note of the retweet accounts but then I though, “Oh this would be so helpful for others!”. Bookmark or copy this reference list. I just know it will help everyone looking to increase traffic and discover new blogs.
The list features fairly active accounts for 2019. I recommend checking out each profile individually because some hosts will only RT people that follow.
